Just like being at home
Our indoor learning environment is specifically designed to enable children to feel at home. Tables and chairs are at child height and accessible for all.
Soft furnishings enhance the learning areas and provide textures for exploration. We have climbing frames for our babies and toddlers to promote safe risk taking, to encourage walking and supporting one another through play.
There are always ample books, toys and craft materials, and areas well-equipped for messy play, be that water, sand or soil… our only constraint are our imaginations.
Big adventures, inside and out
Our outdoor learning environment provides a Forest School experience like no other.
Many of our sites are award nominated in their Forest School provision, this is a testament to the facilities and staff training we invest in.
Cooking on the open fire, sleeping outside, exploring the large sandpits, and exciting large scale activities are just a small part of what we offer.
Always exploring
We have electric minibuses to enable us to take the children on trips to the local community and to see our older friends at our intergenerational partner sites. We love the library, garden centres, nature trails and even further afield to places like East Midlands Airport and Calke Abbey.
Mental wealth for all
Our nurseries all have a wellbeing room for staff and quiet areas for children. These spaces provide a calm haven, and are appreciated by all.
